Just wanted to add my tuppence worth...
I agree that the mall needs a revamp....how about more shade, more seating areas, level out the paving, public art spaces, another children's playground area etc. But why do we need to re-introduce cars??
More pollution, more danger, more noise, less public space, less foot traffic etc.
Also, with all the residental tower development going in around this area, surely it is counter-productive to take away areas that allow pedestrian traffic.
